"LivingWorks", the World Leader in Suicide Intervention Training, is Currently Free in NSW

I recently completed the two-day Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) course by LivingWorks. It is one of the best and most important courses I have ever undertaken. I am now confident that I can identify, clearly communicate about, and assist a person who is considering suicide to be "safe for now".

LivingWorks offers several courses including:

• LivingWorks Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

• LivingWorks Faith.

If you live in NSW, training is currently available completely free of charge under the NSW Government’s Mental Health Recovery Package.

I strongly encourage all adults to do one of these courses. Gain the knowledge and skills to help someone who is considering ending their own life to keep "safe for now". You may be the person who can make the difference.
